Toronto’s lakeshore is the winter home to an amazing abundance and diversity of ducks. Learn how to identify the hardy Arctic-breeding species that travel to our shores for the coldest months of the year — as well as more familiar varieties that stick around all year long.
We’ll cover identification of ducks on the water and in flight, the life histories of the species we see, as well as techniques for finding and watching this amazing group of birds. You’ll know the difference between a Bufflehead and a Wigeon in no time!
