Join us for a tree planting at Tommy Thompson Park! Learn about this amazing human-made wilderness property from the Nikibii Dawadinna Giigwag youth participants.  The youth will also demonstrate the environmental restoration skills they have learned throughout their summer, and teach you how to plant trees and shrubs in Toronto’s urban wilderness!

We will be working at the base of Tommy Thompson Park, directly adjacent to the main entrance.

Parking and washrooms are available at this site. This event will take place rain or shine. Please dress for the weather, including closed-toed shoes and sun/rain protection. You will be notified if the planting needs to be cancelled due to extreme weather. TRCA is committed to creating an accessible experience for all participants. If you require an accessibility accommodation, please email at least 7 days prior to the event.

Registration coming soon!
